Mehmet Ali Hatipoğlu
Mehmet Ali Hatipoğlu is an architect and urban planner based between Munich, Istanbul, and Izmir. He runs his own architectural office, Ahenk, which he established in 2016 — the same year he became the Turkey representative for Progetto CMR Massimo Roj Architects. His practice spans architectural design, urban planning, interior design, and construction, with a particular focus on regeneration.
His career began during his undergraduate years at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), working alongside his father, MSc. Architect Ahmet Sinan Hatipoğlu. He subsequently gained experience at ITU, CarrefourSA, Ömerler Architecture, and Massimiliano Fuksas in Rome, before moving to Milan to work at Progetto CMR Massimo Roj Architects and later at Geomim in Istanbul. He holds a master's degree in Architectural Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, completed on a full scholarship.
Beyond architecture, he produces olive oil in Karaburun and composes music. His compositions include soundtracks for the short films Baran, Hello Africa, and bi'avuç Hayal.
